Traveling Treasure Trunk, whose motto is "Have Trunk, Will Travel," perform traditional and original children's plays and songs at local elementary schools, child wards in hospitals, and low income housing developments. | |
An entirely non-profit organization, Traveling Treasure Trunk relies on the sponsorship of the Leonard Carmichael Society and Pen, Paint, and Pretzels. Aside from performing for children, Traveling Treasure Trunk has also actively worked to help children in need, soliciting donations to the Franciscan Children's Hospital at shows and participating in campus wide fundraising events. | |
As of 2000, Traveling Treasure Trunk continues to perform as often as five times a week for local children. | |
