Cheap Sox, the first and only student comedy group at Tufts, debuted with a brief appearance at Supershow, an annual extravaganza of student performing groups, in the fall of 1985 before making its solo debut on March 1, 1986. They perform mostly improvisational comedy, occasionally mixing in a prepared sketch. Cheap Sox has traveled to comedy festivals at colleges across the northeast, and as of 2005 continues to be the sole comedy troupe at Tufts University. | |
