Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize, 1968
The Frederick Melvin Ellis Prize, established in 1968 by fellow alumni, students, and friends of the late Professor Frederick ('Fish') Ellis of the Class of 1929, the outstanding four-sport athlete of his day and possibly the greatest Tufts College has ever known, is awarded to a student who has demonstrated marked athletic versatility, a modest manner, successful academic achievement, and the potential for the effective leadership of youth. | |
