Open letter [Maybe you]
Open letter [Maybe you]
Oh, where are the many books I lent to So many a friend, and maybe you? I'm asking, not to know where they went to, Though that were knowing something new, Nor where are the snows of yesteryear, But to try to get my books back here.
Oh, here, right here, is where I need them. Wherever you're living, take a look Over your crowded shelves, and weed them Of any good book that was my book, And send it, mail it, or bring it along. I thought it was here, but I was wrong.
P.S. I'll search my bookshelves, too. And send back any I've borrowed from you.
