Trees in the wind
Trees in the wind
Trees in the wind are eager - Feeling space, they lift and fall, And lift, and desperately They tug at the trunk That holds them. All through the quiet days They have dreamed, high in the air, And whispered of freedom. Now, with the wind, they dare Escape, they leap at the sky, Desperate - eager - eager to leap, and die. | |
