With words, to day he brings a full and stronger light;

With words, he makes us see beyond the ordinary sight.

With words, he shows us life is sweet;

With words, he gives us drink and meat.

With words, he binds us hard and fast;

With words, he builds a structure that will last.

If words were actual to sight and touch, his mind

Would never hold the thousands that he knows;

Yet there he easily can find

A poem that lives and breathes and grows.
