Weary
Weary
I hope that heaven is quiet, And the Holy Hill Is very, very still. I have borne sound, and sounds Most wearily. So much I want the quiet That if Heaven were loud With wings, or the proud Hymns of the hosts - If even a bell Sang softly, I would turn and go, If it were quiet there, Down on the Hill again, to Hell. | |
