Reflection of a shadow
Reflection of a shadow
I have found a Place. Oh, all my gods, a place upon a roof. Where everything's below me- Trees, ocean, and the islands, Everything's below me but the soaring gull, And nothing is above me but the sky, And god of sun, the dun is good.
Yet, god whose name I know, Here is a strangeness and a question:
My shadow lies upon the roof And surely that is me, or else my second self, But in the tower window Someone moves, And who is that, that third? Oh who is that, standing so straight, With head thrown back, Looking and looking up At what?
