Three wishes
Three wishes
If the fairies with old magic came to me To give three wishes on whate'er I would, I'd need to give the thing no thought; those three I know. I'd wish first that I might forget Two things I know, who never should have known; And then, that looking back upon my life From it's end I'd see in it alone One fault, and use the other wish To cleanse that fault away. These three I'd wish, if ever suck a thing could be. | |
