This is a milestone I have reached

Which hence shall ever be behind my back

As I face the way - and walls, and pools,

And dark wide waters are beside the track.

Hard-eyes and unafraid I still will go

Silently down the hills, who might have known

How it was to forget in a dream the rain

And the night - unhurt, but more alone.
