Rhyme of going to the store [Going to the store]
Rhyme of going to the store [Going to the store]
Six grapefruit and a can of beans. A peck of dandelion greens. Here's the check for father's collar. Bring the change back from the dollar Puppy biscuit, pancake flour. Tell the man the milk was sour. Have him grind a pound of mocha. Pork chops, carrots, tapioca, Mustard, lettuce, deviled ham, Rye bread, cabbage, soap, and jam. With the soap they give away A solid silver knife to-day. Have some new potatoes sent. A dozen eggs. It's time you went. Lemons, lard, and pepper-black. Take this list. And hurry back. | |
