On going to bed
Blow out the candle light And watch the small red wick Fade slowly out of sight In dark. Think just a bit On that - How life May go out - in the dark, Then kneeling, say a silent prayer That God may keep you in the Spark Of life, throughout the night, And seek your bed, And on a quiet pillow Lay your head ANd sleep a dreamless sleep. | |
