Robin Hood and Friar Tuck Come to life again - Dragon, fool, and Hobby-horse, And Robin Hood's men. | |
Green suit and leathern smock, Slim the archers stand, Soft of foot and strong of arm, Brown of cheek and hand. | |
Run the merry foresters Soft along the grass, And the Morris dancers Sing to see them pass. | |
Villager do honor To the Queen of May, While the Ribbon dancers Weave their happy way. | |
This is beauty's holiday; May is on the air, And all the maids-in-waiting Are young, and very fair. | |
