Sally [Warning with love]
Sally [Warning with love]
Always be careful. Keep yourself with care. The sky might fall, or you might fall yourself. The earth might open suddenly. Beware. Even if you are not a figure on a shelf, There are other ways to break yourself to bits. Get sleep enough, get love and music, get Enough earth, air, and fire to keep your wits Against more subtly threatening dangers yet:
Stars in their courses stumbling into dark Above you; you yourself in silence held, Or over-sleeping into death's long sleep. Be careful always. Mark the seasons, mark The hours, be curious, be one impelled To live awake as long as the pulses leap.
