A toast
A toast
Come, lads, fill the cups. Up! and drink a toast! Drink to meat and drink to wine Provided by our host. Drink to voyages swift and fair, Weather kind and warm. Drink to fortune's lucky smile, Treasures rich and rare. Drink to health and strength and luck, For we sail to-morrow. Up, lads, and drink a toast. Wine holds no sorrow. Drink to lasses in the town Who'll say farewell to you. Up! lads, and drink a toast. Fill! and drink it down! | |
