Ease after pain
Ease after pain
Comfort and a sense of cool grass In long wind; life returning deep, strong and glad; thankful weariness, And being certain I can sleep; Not dread the nights, but welcome them, Not be impatient and not fret Irritably at words and work - I sigh with grateful wonder yet At this. To come out from behind net and veil of tingling pain Days long, and see life clear - for this I thank God, now I live again. | |
