Innholders' Hall.
An ancient edifice of brick. The hall is a plain apartment, in of the windows is the arms of Mr. J. Knott, , and in another window is a similar shield of arms. At the west end of the hall is a glass case, enclosing a gilt figure of St. Julian, the patron saint of the company; he is represented holding a cross and book. At the side is a painting of the wise men's offering, possessing no merit. | |
The court room is a small apartment, with a handsome ceiling of stucco. Over the mantel-piece is a painting of lace horses. | |
