St. Edmond's Chapel.
St. Edmond was archbishop of Canterbury, and the anniversary held at his altar was on the ; the indulgence granted to those who attended it at mass is not known. An ancient wooden screen divides it from the aisle; the ascent to it, and to that of St. Nicholas, is by a single step, and another leading into the body of the chapel. | |
