The Wellington Fund now raising for the Children of Officers.


	A fund is now being raised, as a memorial to the late , for the erection and endowment of a school or college " for the gratuitous, or nearly gratuitous, education of orphan children of indigent and meritorious officers of the army." The subscriptions promised at this time ( ) exceed 70,000l., but no subscriptions are received until the sum amounts to 100,000l.
