	Though the antiquity of this society may reasonably be supposed to be equal to that of the wool-trade in this kingdom, yet it is only a fraternity by prescription. However, it is of the city companies, and is distinguished by the name of The master, wardens, and assistants of the fraternity or company of woolmen of the city of London.
	It is a livery company, and consists of a master, wardens, and a number of assistants.
