The title of this module is Different Bodies. In preparation for the "Joining the Conversation" paper, you might want to use your discussion post to start thinking about one of the following questions in relation to Cadogan's essay: What kinds of difference do we think of as "chosen" and which do we think of as innate? What kinds of difference are visible or invisible and how does this impact the experience of being "different"? Cadogan describes the problem of racial profiling in the US. Can you think of other examples of the dangers--physical or otherwise--that come with being stereotyped or perceived as different?

For today's Canvas class, you must complete the following tasks:

- Read "Black and Blue" by Garnette Cadogan and post your response on the discussion page before 4:30pm
