Please upload a draft of your paper here as a Microsoft Word file. This is important to make sure that all students are able to access one another’s work. Students have struggled in the past to see comments on PDF and Apple Pages files when they are uploaded on Canvas. Tufts provides all students with free access to Microsoft Office software. (See https://access.tufts.edu/office-365 for more information).

When all students have uploaded their drafts, Canvas will assign you another student’s draft to review. Please leave your name off your draft if you would like it to remain anonymous. You can also prevent your name from appearing on the comments that you make on your classmate’s draft. How to do this depends what version of the software you have; google it if you’re not sure.

Once you have been assigned a draft to review, you should annotate it according the the instructions available here. You can either use the comments function in Word or print the draft, make your comments by hand and scan it. You should upload your annotated version to the peer review page. Finish the process by leaving a final comment for your classmate on the peer review page, telling them what you liked most about the paper and the most important thing you think they need to work on.

Please complete your peer review by 6pm on the day of the workshop in order to allow your classmate enough time to edit their paper before the paper deadline.
