Abstract: Conoscenza Interiore is a three-volume
work that was composed between December 2009 and October 2010. It is a three-volume suite
inspired by the Divine Comedy, a medieval classic, by Dante
Alighieri. Volume I contains three piano preludes. Volumes II and III contain three trios
and an octet scored for flute, clarinet, horn, trombone, violin, cello, and four-hand

limited motifs in different conditions. The duration of this work is approximately 36
minutes. It was premiered at Distler Performance Hall, Tufts University, on November 12,
2010.
