This project looks at the role that mass, redshift, density (which is used to probe the environment), and the presence of an X-ray AGN affects the likelihood of galaxies being star-forming, quiescent, or in the green valley. The galaxy flux data came from the XMM-LSS field and SEDs were fit using the model fitting program CIGALE. The NUVrK color-color diagram was used to categorize the galaxies ... read moreinto quiescent, star forming, or in the green valley. In order to probe the effects of mass, redshift, density, and AGN presence I look at the evolution of the fraction of galaxies in each region of the NUVrK diagram as a function of the above. In the end I find that decreasing mass, increasing redshift, decreasing density, and the presence of an AGN all tend to increase the fraction of galaxies that are star forming
