This thesis is an architectural design project for an intervention in Lane Hall, home to the Tufts University Department of Earth and Climate Sciences. In my proposal, I argue the Anthropocene demands a repositioning of the building from a cultural artifact into a terrestrial assemblage to be studied as a geologic specimen.
