Throughout the recent Kosovo conflict, the Turkish public was solidly behind NATO actions. This recent USIA survey in Turkey (conducted during the NATO bombing campaign) suggests that working alongside its NATO allies made Turks feel closer to the U.S., in particular, and that many believe this feeling is mutual.
