  • Study done to evaluate the effect smoking in airplanes has on passengers. Uses levels of the biomarker cotinine in the urine of passengers as indicators of the toxic effects of smoking. Finds that cotinine levels were associated with exposure to nicotine but not to other toxins in environmental tobacco smoke (ETS).
