The demolition site of the Hotel Trivoli is located on the west side of Ash Street. Debris from the demolition lay in rubbish piles in front of the hotel. Two horse-drawn wagons wait on Ash Street in front of the demolition site. A partially constructed portion of the Boston Elevated Railway runs across Oak Street and along the west side of Ash Street to the demolition site. Several men can be seen watching the demolition process from sidewalks along both Oak and Ash Streets. A tall street lamp is located on the northeast corner of Ash and Oak Street.
