The Public Garden is located to the south of Beacon Street, and is enclosed by a wrought iron fence which runs the length of the garden. 1-8 Arlington Street are located to the west of the Public Garden, and can be seen in the background of the photograph. Street lamps line both sides of Beacon Street, and people can be seen walking along its sidewalks. Horse-drawn carriages, wagons, and sleighs are also included in the photograph. Snow blankets houses, streets and the grounds of the the Public Garden.
