Luria's professional correspondence documents her research, writing, and teaching activities as well as her involvement in professional organizations and her committee work at Tufts University. Correspondence also includes notes on talks Luria gave, and grant proposals. She had many colleagues and friends in the psychological profession, and maintained an ongoing interest in the careers of her former students. Her correspondence captures her thoughts and opinions on her field and on academia.
This series is loosely grouped chronologically. An effort has been made to maintain received order where it existed.
This series contains some restricted material. This series may require review before it is available for use. Please contact DCA for further details.
In cases where loose materials were placed in folders or degraded folders were replaced, an attempt has been made to assess access restrictions and restriction recommendations have been written in pencil on the front of the folder by Adrienne Pruitt, the Collections Management Archivist. Many correspondence folders are closed because they contain recommendation letters for students and colleagues.
