The Role of Hydroxyl Radical in Ultranano TiO2 Photo-oxidation.

Metz, Jordin M.

2016

Description
  • This thesis explores the mechanism of ultranano particles of titanium dioxide in water. The role that hydroxyl radicals play in the homogeneous part of the oxidation mechanism is tested, with the ultimate goal of developing a better understanding of how the particles work to enable the synthesis of more efficient particles for water purification.
