Raman Spectroscopy to Look into the Black Box of TiO2 Synthesis

This thesis examines the use of benchtop Raman spectroscopy to track ligand replacement in the analysis of organic TiO2 syntheses. It also investigates a new synthesis utilizing a reverse micelle approach and specifically looks at the interesting properties of the complexes formed between titanium and oleic acid.
