This research was focused on modifying analog synthesizer technology with digital controls. An analog Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) was built and then modified with a microcontroller. Output frequency was monitored and the circuit was adjusted as necessary to match the output to the correct note. Submitted in partial fulfillment of the grant requirement of the Tufts Summer Scholars Program.
