MEMORANDUM IN OPPOSITION TO: SENATE 2400 (JOHNSON, ET AL.) ASSEMBLY 2746 (GRANNIS, HEVESI, LEVY)

BOARDMAN,FB
1982-02-09

Memorandum signed by F.B. Boardman of the United Transportation Union opposing the proposed New York State Clean Indoor Act. Argues that the act is overly invasive of privacy, extremely costly economically to the state, and an increased burden on police forces. Explains that train travel would decrease, and that train workers have the right to relax with a cigarette during work.
