The Structure of Orthogonal and Symplectic Geometries

This undergraduate thesis examines orthogonal and symplectic geometries, and how they are connected to the study of orthogonal and symplectic groups. Topics include Witt's Theorem, symplectic transvections, anisotropic decomposition of an orthogonal geometry, and maximal hyperbolic subspaces of an orthogonal geometry.
