Development of a Custom-Built Video-Rate Multiphoton Laser Scanning Microscope for Dynamic Cancer Biology Studies

A video-rate multiphoton laser scanning microscope was built and custom written post-processing and analysis computer programs developed for dynamic cancer biology research. The capabilities of the microscope were demonstrated by recording and analyzing videos from orthotopic glioblastoma tumor bearing cranial window mice. The effect of antiangiogenic treatment on blood flow was studied.
