  • Eye-level view of the Longfellow Bridge, which spans the Charles River from Boston in the east to Cambridge in the west. Street lights line the bridge, and its four central towers are included in the center-left half of the photograph. Designed by Edmund March Wheelwright, 1907; bridge nicknamed The Pepper Pot in reference to the bridge's towers 7 5/8 x 9 9/16, 8 x 9 7/8 overall Photographs
