8 x 10, photographic print. Artist's conception of the hanging of Boston Dispensary's signboard outside the apothecary shop which served as its first headquarters. Its "Good Samaritan" theme, taken from the Bible, served as the Dispensary's logo. The original painting of scene is owned by the Bank of Boston.
