Abstract: The BCR-ABL1 oncoprotein, resulting from t(9;22) Philadelphia chromosome translocation, is the direct cause of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and is also found in some acute B-lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ B-ALL) patients.
