Gustav Davidson (1895-1971) wrote and published dramatic works and poetry in the 1920s and 1930s and published his best known book, A Dictionary of Angels in 1965. In 1940 he founded Fine Editions Press and served as executive director of the Poetry Society of America from 1949 to 1965.
